Chicago vs. Turabian: What's the Difference?
Chicago Style and Turabian Style citations differ in very few places, the main one being the numbering of their notes. The Bibliography entry is the SAME for both.
In Turabian Style, a superscript 1 is used for endnote & footnote numbers in the text & at the beginning of each note. Example: 1 Turabian
In Chicago Style, the in-text numbering is in parentheses (1) & is followed by a period. Within the footnote, it is the number followed by a period. Example: 1. Chicago
